City2connect is a group created and owned by GoAhead_BW. It was founded in June 2019 firstly as a low-cost operator, but then replaced all RET automatic train operations in 2019 due to problems in management happening.

In September 2022, city2connect was closed temporarily, and became a bus operator for Croydon: The London Transport Game in October 2022 and Shardshire PTE network. In 2024, bus operations were split into a separate group and brand at FS Bus, and city2connect once again began operating automatic trains in Leckwith.
