Central Line
The Central Line (initially named Angle Shuttle) is a rapid transit line of the Delta Region Transit that runs between Angle Land Port and Central. It has six stations.
The line was opened to operate between Angle Land Port and Guiliford Road. Trains running on this line shared the depot with Delta Line. Later, the line was extended to Brentwood East following the closure of Guilford Road. Before the opening of Guliford Road the line ran from Brentwood east to Angle Land Port with London Tube- inspired trains running back and forth between the stations. After the reopening of Guilford Road the line was extended to Central with 3 new stops which were Metro Town, West Central and Central. Central is the station where a bus terminal is connected with the station, which allow for connections to suburban areas. Guliford Road was revamped with lower and upper platforms and cross platform interchange with the Delta line. There was new bridge section placed on the river after Brentwood east and before Metrotown station.
It was renamed to Central line after the reopening of Guilford Road and the extension to Central.
